Without Limits:
Jesi Stratcham’s
Journey

Meet Jesi Stracham, Athlete Ambassador

Jesi is a former ATV racer turned CrossFit competitor out of Charlotte, NC with big goals and a new perspective on life.

Originally from Canton, OH, Jesi was an Orthodontic Assistant and household name in the world of off-road racing and youth ATV race competitions.

Then, on January 18th, 2015 – everything changed.

After being involved in a devastating motorcycle accident, Jesi suffered life-altering injuries to her brain and spine that would be career ending for most athletes. Suffering from a T4/T5 level spinal cord injury, she became paralyzed from the chest down.

Her recovery journey was long, being in a position where she had to learn how to live life again from a wheelchair. As part of her mobility challenges, learning how to navigate the world and cook at home was difficult. She gained about 30 pounds after her injury and put a pause on her workouts.

“I stopped being physically active altogether because I didn’t realize I could still go to the gym. I thought – why does it matter? I’m paralyzed…” Jesi Stracham

About two years into her recovery, things started to change for Jesi.
In an effort to regain her independence, she picked back up on her strength training. She started following a Paleo diet, focusing on increasing her protein intake. She started tracking her macros and
realized she wasn’t eating enough – looking to a certified nutrition coach to help.

“I realized that meal prep doesn’t have to suck. The only issue is that meal prep is a time suck, so I really like having an option like Nutre to help with that.” Jesi Stracham

Watch Jesi’s Story

After multiple surgeries and a new outlook on life, Jesi has competed in some of the most
recognized competitions in the country – including CrossFit competitions, Worlds Toughest Mudder (four times!), and was part of the U.S. Paralympic Developmental team for
Wheelchair Curling.

It was then she realized – she had a new life mission, and a platform to inspire people to live life with no limits
and no regrets.

“My motto is – stay grateful, stay humble, stay hungry. Each day I express gratitude for not only what I currently have, but what is coming to be. What is it I want to accomplish? What are my goals I want to reach? Running through this daily is what keeps my day aligned and my goals on track.” Jesi Stracham

She’s since then co-owned multiple businesses – one brick and mortar
wellness facility out of Lake Norma, NC called “Freedom Longevity & Wellness (LKN)”, and another being a Fitness App for wheelchair users called “Wheel With Me Adapt Fit”. She is also set to launch her first book, “Power in the Roll”, which will be released in late
November 2025.

Her 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, “Wheel With Me Foundation”, serves to support the independence of wheelchair users through online workshops, in-person event activations, as well as fundraising events to integrate these users back into an independent society.

She credits support from brands like Nutre Meals to helping push her message forward, as well as helping her live into a more independent and sustainable lifestyle. We’re proud to have Jesi Stracham as a Nutre Athlete Ambassador.
